What is MyType Quiz?

A playful photo-preference quiz. You rate fifty portraits, and we tell you which of thirteen everyday looks you rated highest. It is for fun and self-reflection, not a scientific assessment.

Are these real people?

No. Every portrait is an AI-generated image of a fictional adult. Any resemblance to a real person is coincidental.

How is my type calculated?

Each portrait belongs to one of thirteen styles. We average your ratings per style and take the highest. The first 26 faces are a balanced set covering every style; the last 24 are chosen on the fly to show you more of what you seem to like.

How is “pickier than X%” calculated?

From how low your first 26 ratings are, compared with a statistical reference panel. It is an estimate, not a validated population norm — treat it as context, not a verdict.

Are my answers saved?

Only in your own browser. We keep a short history in localStorage so you can compare runs later — nothing is uploaded, and “Clear history” removes it. See privacy for the detail.

Can this predict who I will fall for?

No. Attraction involves far more than a photo: voice, movement, humour, and history all matter more than a first impression.
